Autumn Baked Applesauce
6 large cooking apples, peeled and cored
2 tablespoons orange marmalade or jelly
1/2 cup orange juice
cinnamon to taste
Preheat oven to 350F. In a 3 quart casserole dish, place apples; dot with marmalade; then pour orange juice over apples. Cover and bake for 1 hour or until apples are soft. Mash to create the sauce. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serves 2.
