1 3 ounce package lemon or lime Jello
1 cup boiling water
1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 cup whipped cream or prepared Dream Whip Dessert Topping
1/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries
1/4 cup chopped blanched almonds
Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Drain pineapple measuring 1/2 cup syrup. Add to gelatin. Chill until very thick, about 1 1/2 hours. Fold in pineapple, cheese, whipped cream, cherries and almonds. Pour into individual molds or a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Chill until firm. Unmold. Makes 4 1/2 cups or 8 servings.
