Jellied Ginger Upper
1 3 ounce package Jello Gelatin, any red flavor
1 cup boiling water
1 7 ounce bottle ginger ale
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 cup diced fresh or drained canned pears or peaches
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Gradually add ginger ale and lemon juice. Chill until thickened; stir in pears. Spoon into individual molds or a 3 cup mold. Chill until firm. Unmold and garnish with Frosted Fresh Grapes and green leaves, if desired. Makes about 3 cups or 6 servings.
