Tomato Green Bean Soup
1 onion, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
6 cups low fat reduced sodium chicken broth
1 pound fresh green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cups fresh tomatoes, diced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
