Sausage Bake

1 pound bulk pork sausage
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
3 medium apples, peeled and sliced

Brown the sausage, breaking up the big pieces; drain off fat. Blend sugar, flour and cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/2 cup cold water. Combine all ingredients into crockpot; cook on low 4 to 5 hours, stirring once or twice. It is done when potatoes and apples are both tender.
