1 1/2 to 2 pounds boneless round steak
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 16 ounce can beef broth
2 packages dry brown gravy mix
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup water
Cut steak into serving size pieces and brown in oil in skillet. Transfer to crockpot. Mix broth, gravy, water and onion soup mix in saucepan on top of stove and heat through until gravy has thickened. Pour over steak and cook on high for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes, a veggie and rolls.
