Irish Stew
2 pounds lamb, cubed, browned and drained
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cup water
1 small bay leaf
2 medium carrots, sliced
2 small onions, thinly sliced
4 medium potatoes, pared and quartered
10 ounce package peas, frozen
Season cubed lamb with salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients except peas. Stir well. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours. Add peas during last 1 to 2 hours of cooking.
