Caldillo
2 pounds pork
2 tablespoons oil
3 potatoes
1/2 cup onion
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 teaspoons salt
1 ounce green chilies, diced
Cube meat, sprinkle with salt and fry until brown in oil. Dice potatoes and add to browned meat; slice onions and add, then garlic, salt, chilies and enough water to cover. Continue to add water if necessary. It will have a soupy consistency. 4 servings.
