Lemon Soy Steak

2 medium lemons
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, crushed with garlic press
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 boneless beef top sirloin steak, 1 1/4 inches thick, about 1 1/2 pounds

From 1 lemon, remove 3 strips peel, 3 inches by 1 inch each. From both lemons, squeeze 1/3 cup juice. In bowl, mix lemon peel, lemon juice, soy sauce, oil, garlic, black pepper, and ground red pepper. Pour marinade into large self sealing plastic bag; add steak, turning to coat. Seal bag, pressing out excess air. Place bag on plate; refrigerate 30 minutes. Remove steak from bag. Pour marinade into 1 quart saucepan and reserve. Place steak on grill over medium heat and cook 12 to 15 minutes for medium rare or until of desired doneness, turning once. Serves 6.
